Quiet roads north of Girona

North of Girona the land opens out into farmland, and the lanes that cross it are some of the quietest riding in the province. Cornellà del Terri, Sobrànigues, a handful of villages that have not changed much in a long time, and almost no traffic to speak of.

Six hundred metres of climbing in fifty-six kilometres: enough to keep it interesting, never enough to hurt. This is the one for an easy day, for a first ride on legs that have just got off a plane, or for a group that wants to talk the whole way round.
